What is the process for selling firearms?
a. SSL’s commission is based on the final bid price: ($1-$100 = 25%, $101-$600 = 15% & $601+ = 12%. There is also a $5 per lot listing fee. There is no firearm related paperwork needed to consign a gun, you will need to bring a copy of your driver’s license and be prepared to sign our contract, ALL ITEMS ON SSL SELL ABSOLUTE WITH NO MINIMUMS/RESERVES.
b. We do sell ammunition as well, however boxes of ammunition must be “like new” completely full and we will not sell any reloaded or mixed brands of ammunition.
c. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE GUN ROOM MANAGER IS CONTACTED SO WE CAN SET UP AN APPPT. FOR A CUSTOMER TO DROP OFF. (Even during auction weeks this is very helpful, so they don’t have to wait in a long line just to drop off items). The gun room manager can be emailed at kdewey@1800lastbid.com
